Records obtained by the Denver Post show Dunlap’s attorneys and members of the public are hoping to sway Hickenlooper’s decision because of possible signs that the governor’s position on the issue has wavered. Colorado Considers the Future of the Death Penalty

Claire Levy, from Boulder County, wants to make the maximum sentence in Colorado life in prison without parole.
