Religious Activism
The Religious Activism Committee has been gathering information for religious leaders to use in public speaking and religious education activities. Information packets are available and include educational resources, fact sheets, Dead Man Walking study packets, position papers from different religious communities, organizing and action items.
The committee currently is working on supporting the Moratorium 2000 campaign. This international campaign is collecting signatures on petitions seeking a moratorium next year against the death penalty. Colorado signatures are to be combined with others from around the world and presented to the United Nations.
