Send Press Releases
Contact local newspapers, TV, and radio stations with news about CADP, or other Colorado death penalty events and announcements. E-mailed press releases should include a brief eye-catching summary in the subject line. E-mails may be more effective when sent individually; but for expediency, it is better to send multiple-address press releases, than none at all. You can copy and paste contact information here to make e-mail or fax distribution lists. When faxing press releases that include a cover sheet, address the faxes to the Newsroom/City Desk.
Press releases should include a complete, newsworthy description of the event, along with names, dates, times, locations, Web site URL, etc. Be sure press releases include a contact name and the contact's telephone or e-mail information, so reporters can follow-up for more information.
